EMS-Training stands for electromyostimulation training, also known as electrical muscle stimulation training. It is a form of physical training that uses electrical impulses to stimulate the contraction of muscles.
During EMS training, a person wears a special suit / waistcoat with integrated electrodes. These electrodes are connected to an EMS device that generates electrical impulses. The impulses are transmitted to the muscles via the electrodes, which leads to contractions.
In contrast to conventional training, where muscle contraction occurs through the voluntary effort of the person, EMS training stimulates the muscles directly through the electrical impulses. The intensity of the impulses can be adjusted according to the individual needs and abilities of the person.
EMS training makes it possible to train several muscle groups at the same time, as the impulses can be sent specifically to different parts of the body via different electrodes. This allows for an effective whole-body workout in a short time.
EMS training is a highly effective workout because 100% activation of all muscle fibres is achieved. (also deep lying muscle fibres!). A 20-minute EMS workout is comparable to about 2.5 hours of conventional training in the gym.
EMS Training is suitable for all sports. Special movement sequences of individual sports can be trained with EMS.
