SPORT AND WELLNESS MASSAGES

SPORT MASSAGE

A relaxation massage is a form of massage that aims to promote relaxation and stress reduction. Unlike a sports massage, which focuses on treating specific muscular problems, a relaxation massage focuses on bringing the body and mind into a state of calm and relaxation.

During a relaxation massage, gentle and flowing massage movements are used to release tension, improve circulation and promote general well-being. Soothing essential oils are often used to enhance the relaxation effect.

A relaxation massage can have several benefits, including:

  • Stress reduction and relief from physical and mental tension.
  • Improving the quality of sleep.
  • Promotes blood circulation and detoxification of the body.
  • Increase general well-being and relaxation.
  • Improving emotional balance and mental focus.

A relaxation massage can be performed by a qualified masseur or therapist and is a popular way to revitalise and regenerate the body and mind.

Dorn therapy

Dorn therapy is a manual treatment method that aims to correct misalignments and blockages in the spine and other joints. It was developed by the German alternative practitioner Dieter Dorn and is based on the assumption that many physical complaints and pains are caused by spinal and joint misalignments.

Dorn therapy is carried out with gentle pressure and movement techniques in which the therapist acts on the affected areas of the spine or joints with his hands. During the treatment, the patient is actively involved in the movements by performing certain muscle contractions or getting into certain positions.

Joint malpositions are corrected.

Dorn therapy can be used for various complaints and diseases, including:

  • Back pain and intervertebral disc problems
  • Neck and shoulder complaints
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Joint pain and restricted mobility
  • Posture problems and malpositions
  • Sciatica
